Canterbury Health Research Conference

The Canterbury Health Research Conference is a joint initiative of the Canterbury Medical Research Foundation and the HRSC.  The aims of the conference are:

1. To provide a high profile forum for the dissemination of high quality health research being conducted in the region.
2. To increase communication and cooperation between researchers from different fields and institutions.
3. To share the importance of health research with the public, with funding bodies, and with government.

The inaugural conference was held in 2004. From 2005, it became a biennial meeting, with the next to be held towards the end of 2009.
