The Health Research Society of Canterbury

The Health Research Society of Canterbury (HRSC) was formed in 1971 (originally named the Christchurch Medical Research Society, CMRS). Its role is to provide a forum for the presentation of health research and to promote such research generally.

The next meeting is the Poster Expo that will be held in the University of Canterbury's NZi3 building on Thursday 27th May at 5:00 pm.

Membership is open to all people either involved in or simply interested in health research, and is available for an annual fee of $10 payable to the Treasurer.

Next Meeting

Event: Canterbury Health Research Poster Expo
Date: Thurs 27th May 2010, 5 - 7 pm
Venue: NZi3 Building, University of Canterbury

This third meeting of the Health Research Society of Canterbury for 2010 is a repeat of our highly successful Poster Expo from last year. The Expo will feature around dozens of posters from Canterbury health researchers, as well as beer, wine, pizza, and fizz. Supported by the Association for Postgraduate Students of Otago, Christchurch, and Research and Innovation at the University of Canterbury, there will be a $200 first prize for best student poster, with two runner-up prizes of $100 each.

Membership is open to all people either involved in or simply interested in health research, and is available for an annual fee of NZ$10 payable by one of the methods below:
Cash/cheque: Please make cheques payable to the Health Research Society of Canterbury, and mail them to the Treasurer.
